Gaining Wisdom/Loosing Blood

Fucking wisdom teeth. Crowding my mouth. Making brushing teeth a bloody affair. Gotta rip the thing out.

Melbournebound

Once again in transit.  Headed to Melbourne for the week to see my lovely aunts and do whatever is done in the city.

STAB (parental discretion)

Stab is a surf publication centered around talking shit on surfing.  They dont like Kelly and love Dane.  They love women and art.  Good design and off-centered writing.  Very opinionated and satirical.  Half of every issue is surfing, and half is style.  The Stab Law/Dirty Dozen is pretty damn funny. Enjoy.

Board Art by King Louie

Louis Gervais is a big softy from the Sunshine Coast of Queensland.  Born half Aussie and half Yankee, he speaks with a grit Australian accent and wears a tattoo of the Detroit "D" on the back of his hand.  He's got hoes in different area codes.  Louis's board art is reminiscent of classic tattooing, but not restricted to that form. People have been racing to him to get their boards painted.  Here are a few examples of his work.  If youre around the Coolangatta area and want your board painted, leave a comment.

South African Queen

This is Nastuzja Mess.  A South African who was transplanted by the heavens to Coolangatta.  She's 23, and friends with all the cool kids. "Oh yeah when Wardo and I used to date..." "Oh God, Jay Adams is texting me again...." "Oh one time backstage at a Mickey Avalon show..." "Oh when Slater and I climbed Everest...."  The list goes on.  We have a faux-marriage on facebook, but we take it pretty seriously.  She works as a host at Neverland, and surely things get weird when shes around.  She spends her days gurfing (girl-surfing) and smoking the gravity bong I gave her. Then proceeds to eat too much and pass out, upon waking up she likes to complaining that I did this to her.  She's a track star, specializing in the run-like-youve-had-a-stroke 10 meter sprint and fall.  She enjoys saying "sooo funny," "maddog," and "you dont even understand."  These quotes have the ability of making her stories infinitely better than yours.  She's a wonderful human and Im honored to be faux-married to her.  Maybe one day she'll stop surfing and get a boyfriend.

....Things That Are Good....

A good thing out of Australia. Runamuk Visuals.  Creative arty surfboard riders that post their art, others art, some surf stuff, and beautiful women.  Not to be missed.
